One thing I'm wondering, aside from any ideological viewpoints: Does #ActivityPub scale the way new potential giants like #Meta/#P92 would need it to? I remember some bigger accounts already having put a lot of pressure on #Fediverse/#Mastodon instances (i.e., see https://ar.al/2022/11/09/is-the-fediverse-about-to-get-fryed-or-why-every-toot-is-also-a-potential-denial-of-service-attack/ by @aral@ar.al), and that would be nowhere near of what to expect…

Protocol wise, it just doesn't look like a good fit to me. Any insights or thoughts here?

@thomasfuchs To raise the general content quality by introducing proof-of-work like concepts, I suggest original posts to be accepted as Haiku only.

@thomasfuchs And as a mature being, you should use the time between stimulus and response for making yourself aware that software is written by humans who own feelings, too.
