Too often I see people get on their soapbox proclaiming something is bad and we should stop using something. When in reality they just think something is bad.
If you ask for evidence that something is bad, they suddenly go silent.

That’s pretty much how GOP started the whole “groomer” attack against LGBTQ+. Their feelings are this group of people go after children so they said they are bad and started using that word and got others to use that word to attack any member of that group.
