@blami That looks great. Nice and clean. 👍

Those old power supplies can do some damage. I had a bad one zap several of my old C64s before I realized what was happening.

@nafmo Thanks for the tip. I have only messed around with Wget a few times and it's been many years ago.

I used it for grabbing files off an FTP like site. I imagine a website might be a bit more complicated for me, but I will definitely take a look at it.

    Thanks again!

There is an old website that I really want to preserve and archive a section of. Basically like how the Wayback machine does.

I would really like to be able to essentially browse the website offline on my computer.

Also, if it does not increase complexity, i would like to retain all of the downloadable links and files as well.

Is there a program or a simple way to go about this? Any help would be appreciated.

At the beginning of this year I set out with a goal to restore FULL #PocketPC compatibility on a current #Windows 10 #PC.

We outlined how to both establish a connection AND Sync here… https://mas.to/@Judeau/112678025590638375

We looked at different keyboards and how to transfer Word files while preserving formatting here… https://mas.to/@Judeau/112689361744308651

The last piece of the puzzle was restoring wireless #IrDA connectivity.

    Spoiler alert: I got it!

[1/7] Lovers of the #Palm #PDA have the fantastic https://palmdb.net/ they can visit. The site has FAQs and guides to help you get your devices set up, talking and syncing to a modern PC. It also hosts a vast app library. In addition they have a Discord (Ughhh) channel if you have any questions. Unfortunately lovers of the #PocketPC have it a bit rougher... #WindowsMobile #WindowsCE #RetroComputing

Attached: 1 image [1/6] In Tuesdays 7 part post https://mas.to/@Judeau/112678025590638375 we talked about how to get various #PocketPC #PDA devices setup, talking and syncing to a Windows 10/11 computer. It’s great to have the full functionality of these devices on a modern computer. They are quite useful as a daily carry, but I wonder, can we take it even further? #WindowsMobile comes with Pocket Word. Can we use one of these as a legitimate writing device? #WindowsCE #RetroComputing #Handheld

@feditips it sounds like I have the opposite issue yesterday. I'm on mas.to and have used the multi column interface for over a year.

When I logged in yesterday it was back to a single column. First time that has ever happened. In the upper right corner of the screen I had to toggle 'Advanced Interface' and then everything switched back to my customized multi column mode.

@feditips @mobilizon @Framasoft @peertube I had no idea that this was a thing. I can seriously see myself using this for something I am organizing in the near future.

    Thank you for sharing.

I try my best to live with purpose and stand for something. My posts will get political at times but I try to limit this. I don't always succeed.I mostly post about:#Videogames #RetroGaming #RetroComputing#PocketPC #RetroTech#Movies #Film #Anime#TTRPG #BoardGames #Lorcana#OklahomaHeader provided by @Digituba@mastodon.social who apparently left without saying goodbye. :(
