A couple people have DM'd to ask why I've been absent, which is very sweet and also I didn't think anyone would notice. So, extra sweet, really ♥️

Unfortunately I've been in hospital. An intoxicated driver t-boned me at an intersection and now I've got a fractured wrist, a crack in my spine, and 2 ruptured discs.

My son was with me and has only a few bruises, so I can genuinely say I'm feeling grateful rn.

Tbh the pain and stress are

making me miserable, though, and I don't feel very entertaining or funny. Finding some good pain meds might help, haha, but until then I'll probably just be focusing on trying to take care of my kids, keep paying the bills, and heal up.

Thank you to the mastodon community for looking out for people and checking in. I never expected it and am moved by your kindness.
