Frankly I'm kind of impressed at how little forethought went into the structure of this awful fucking place. Not a single thought was spared for sustainability or practicality.

The irony of trying to pretend this place is basically just twitter by trying to file off the difference between instances but also because of the way that this place's data is stored, you never know when your admin just can't pay for your instance anymore because it suddenly shoots up in price and just isn't worth it and there's nothing you can do about it

I opened a PayPal account 6 months ago and after receiving some birthday money PayPal decided that I was a fraud and completely froze my account and my access to any funds in the account. Do not keep any money in a PayPal account

A lot of Americans, even those who supposedly hate America, still have an intrinsic belief that we are justified in going to war with "the bad people". They understand that America is bad, but clearly the other places are worse, and so it's our duty to put them in their place. This is why watering down anti-American sentiment is so dangerous. American leftism is littered with home grown propaganda, and the state will tap into it any time it needs to manufacture consent. If it needs you to agree that a place needs bombing, it will just convince you that place is super totally "authoritarian".
