I honestly think that it's insulting how many people genuinely seem to believe the rhetoric that "fascism only succeeds when nobody raises a fuss about it" because it implies that nobody has been "raising a fuss" this entire time. The fact of the matter is is that in 2020 we had some of the largest and most record-breaking protests, and not only did things not improve, they got worse.

I think this rhetoric is as dangerous as it is deeply stupid. It kind of puts you in an infinite feedback loop where you keep trying the same thing over and over despite getting the exact same result.

The revolution will not be won because enough people posted extremely hard

@Aleums HARD AGREE!!! Something I love about TMA is how it is capable of both being very subtle but also very overt, and it knows when is the correct time to utilize both. It really helps cohere all of the emotional messages of the show together

Sorry I haven't been posting many updates but im not doing too bad. My mom is here to help out and I've just been taking my pain meds and sleeping and eating and watching some YouTube. The pain right now is much better than it was this morning. I even went for a little walk with maple. So I've been doing okay

i get myself really worked up about all of this stuff and by the time i was in the surgery room i was kind of having a panic attack, but they didnt even ask me if i was ready for the anesthetic i kind of just blacked out and honestly that was the best thing they could have done for me. when i woke up the first thing i thought was "thank god i never have to worry about that again" and the fear of regretting it or whatever went away almost instantly. i hope this is a good life lesson for me honestly

anesthetic actually scares me a lot, like im always so afraid of dying or of getting brain damage so the first thing i asked my nurse when i woke up, extremely high off meds, was, and i quote, "do i seem cognitively competent?"

My top surgery is tomorrow and I am very scared

im looking over my first assignment due for this class and at the bottom it said "Note: In a footnote to your response memo, include a brief statement summarizing your use (or not) of Large Language Models (LLMs) for this assignment." that confused me so i went to check the syllabus and.... huh????
