I appear to have once again checked into America's answer to Fawlty Towers. So far, a power cut last night (and no glow sticks were handed out like at TPAC, disappointing), my shower is a dribble and makes a noise like the tortured souls of a hundred lonely business travelers, and my door lock keeps failing and locking me out of my room. The receptionist is now the person I've spoken to most in the past week.

@jamie @thomasfuchs As the person responsible for Chrome developer content, if that happens on one of our sites, it's a mistake. There are clear guidelines about what a "web standard" or "on the standards track" means, and I try to make sure they are used correctly.

I've been setting up a really complicated system of email filters today. But no one is at work to send any emails to test it.

I'll just have to wait until the NY to see if I have achieved email nirvana, or created a situation where I never see any email ever again.
