@prav What sets apart this app from the rest?
I am *so tired* of Google. :omya_google:
I am setting up a service on one of my subdomains that sends out email verifications. I sent the email to my testing Gmail account... That was a mistake. Google flagged the email as having a "deceptive" link.
Whatever, I clicked "report not as spam".
Now the entire domain and all my subdomains result in a big red "DECEPTIVE SITE AHEAD" warning on Chrome and Firefox.
FFS Google.
I've done the appeal process before, it sucks and takes a long time.

What's the most unusual thing you have found in a server room?
How to anger the Fediverse :fediverse: tech community and start a civil war:
"GIF is better than WebP"
:ablobcatattentionreverse: :blobcatgun: :blobcatreeeeeee:
The current #FediBlock situation is dire. While instance block lists are (mostly) well intentioned, the current situation is unvalidated censorship of small instances with little to no evidence. Oftentimes instances are being blocked only due to hearsay and without contacting the mods of the reported instance.
I wonder if it's possible to create a fediverse blocklist system that requires substantial evidence and provides pathways for appealing / delisting.
Has this been done before?
Biblically accurate VLC player.
Incredibly cursed.
@thatonecalculator Oho, Mr. Popular! :blobcatcool:
Many new users have noticed that Mastodon is not a 1 to 1 clone of the Twitter experience.
Mastodon ≠ Twitter. It's something else entirely with different cultures and social norms. Mastodon is not a replacement for Twitter, and is not intended to be one. Do not join Mastodon expecting Twitter. Join for the community, and leave the Twitter behaviors behind at Twitter.
There is also the rest of the Fediverse too! Give them a look at https://fediverse.party ?
