🩶The current #FediBlock situation is dire. While instance block lists are (mostly) well intentioned, the current situation is unvalidated censorship of small instances with little to no evidence. Oftentimes instances are being blocked only due to hearsay and without contacting the mods of the reported instance.
I wonder if it's possible to create a fediverse blocklist system that requires substantial evidence and provides pathways for appealing / delisting.
Has this been done before?
