So from now, from time to time, I would write a post in English (as usual) and challenge myself to translate it in Tagalog and write that in Baybayin.

The whole process makes it slow, but honestly, I think we have to slow down and connect with our roots. Whatever that is for you.

The danger of technology these days is how fast we are heading into a monoculture. By introducing LLMs as an abstraction layer on top of our vast and diverse history and culture, we inevitably kill those in the minority.

To me that’s a possible indication of someone whom I want to follow as they most likely align with my ideas/values/ethics

So I recently adopted an algorithm for following folks

Boost = Follow

Additionally I also started actively organizing my lists, so accounts are categorized.

If you want proof look at bsky implementation

Mastodon is both federated and decentralized. A community can form in the middle of nowhere without the need to connect to Mastodon.social

That’s not the case in bsky?
