Last week was a big milestone for @IceCubesApp with the release of the 1.5.0. It’s a complete rework of push notifications, they now look much better and use the modern iOS communication notifications API. They’re also grouped by types. The app also have notifications count and badge per account now. And on top of that there is more sharing options for sharing statuses! Happy Tooting!
@renchap I’ve heard about this. But if you use ice cubes on macOS and iOS you should be fine. Is there is a plan to resume the web frontend from the last marker?
Lol, yesterday it was about X, today it’s about Threads. Well, you know what? I’m on Threads, and it’s about sharing our daily lives and information, as it should be. And yes, it’s an excellent thing that a significant network wants to integrate with an OPEN protocol that has been designed that way for a purpose. Now I woukd say Mastodon, maybe it's time to change the disk.
I’m wondering if I should update the home tab and notifications tab of @IceCubesApp to be like that. Or if I should bee the iOS menu filter. I like native components but the Threads app one is very good too.
Around the same time last year, I started developing @IceCubesApp , my idea of a Mastodon client entirely in #SwiftUI.
I wanted it to be my ultimate playground for testing ideas and also for it to be an excellent app for anyone to use. And I think it's a success!
The app rapidly grew to add unique features such as AI-enhanced post composer, profiles with featured tags and verified URLs, tag groups, grouped notifications, and many more!
