Some people missed this and I think it’s a big deal: the Passwords app on iOS 18 and macOS Sequoia allows you to save passwords without a website! It even allows you to import them from other password managers! When adding passwords, you can specify a website or a custom label, like “Router”, "Passport Number”, or “Garage Door”.

it’s going to get worse before it gets a lot worse.

As I sit in my mom’s house without power for the second time in a week, I realize that I’m kind of sick of these “freak” storms we’ve been having.

My mom said to me tonight, “So with climate change we’re going to keep getting more of these?”, and I was simultaneously proud and heartbroken.

I think the fondness that we can accumulate for people who we’ve never met in person is one of the best things.
