(He’s saying this b/c the trump admin is declaring that “#Crimea is gone”, but Tusk emphasized that "decisions on the war in #Ukraine cannot be made over the heads of Ukrainians.

Newsweek, Reuters, Foreign Policy magazine all rushing into print to blame Kamala Harris for, what to my mind, are trifles, like once she said something that wasn’t eruditely constructed. We know that isn’t the issue. #USPolitics

New things I’ve noticed this Election Day 2024: (1) Inside poll watchers who coordinate w/ outside poll greeters in case of trouble , harrassment, or shenanigans; (2) Cities that shut down construction sites on Election Day in anticipation of possible trouble or domestic terrorism. #SignOfTheTimes

US falling birth rate causes a state report to warn that 7 Virginia universities should be monitored as enrollment cliff approaches.
The report says three of them have more risk than others but none are in danger of having to close. The three singled out most: Radford, Mary Washington and Virginia State.
