Any artists working with playlists as a medium? Or if anyone knows any people (artists, coders, whatever) doing any kind of explorative work related to the playlist format. Please tell me!
Russian Socialist Movement (emigration branch): "In contrast, the defeat of Putinism in Ukraine would likely lend momentum to movements for democratic change in Belarus, Kazakhstan, and other former Soviet countries, as well as in Russia itself. It would be overly optimistic to claim that defeat in war automatically leads to revolution. But Russian history is replete with examples of military setbacks abroad that have led to major change at home—including the abolition of serfdom, the revolutions of 1905 and 1917, and Perestroika in the 1980s."
(PS. I've never even been close to the Trotskyist tradition, but compared to all other kinds of self-professed Marxist parties in the world, I must say that the 4th International stands out by holding a clear line in solidarity with Ukraine and in condemning Russian imperialism.)
@icorn @OskarImKeller @tante: I always find it hard to judge if such numbers are meant to be valid for "everyone" or just as an average. You know, #neurodiversity and everything. If the circadian cycle of individual humans can deviate rather wildly from the 24 hour standard, I'd guess something similar goes for the standard sleep cycle of 90 minutes?
Remember when the Prime Minister of Sweden's "closest man", PM (Peter Magnus) Nilsson, was caught illegally eel fishing and was trying to eel out of it? Well, since then Nilsson, previously the "political editor" at the stock-gamblers' main paper "Dagens industri", has been forced to quit, after it was found out Nilsson had been caught illegally fishing, lying about that to the police and is under investigation for "[endangered] species protection crime". ...and won't get any severance pay, because it officially counts as "resigning".
A question I never see asked. I don't know myself. But given how important Reddit right now is, not at large in society, but in maintaining thousands of international nische communities – shouldn't we pay more interest in the possible trajectories of Reddit?
"In the same way that everyone has to deal with the immediate weather when going to work, so every elite decision-maker has to deal with immediate social problems, with the “long term” relegated to the horizon. “Everyone's a Keynesian in the foxhole,” the great bourgeois economist Robert Lucas said. Yes, “In the long term, we are all dead,” as Keynes said, but the problem is that the “long term” might be tomorrow since we might all be dead, if tomorrow a strong enough gust tumbles the capitalist house of cards."
#BandcampFriday is today, so let's check out what the newest stuff released on cassette may be: https://bandcamp.com/?g=all&s=new&p=0&gn=0&f=cassette&w=0 Just too bad that there are no Fridys when the world's postal services abstain from taking their toll on cassette ditribution. Nowadays the postage costs can easily surpass the price of music cassette.

Plot twist! Now it turns out that Rasmus #Paludan seems to never have burned the Qur'an, but that the book he burned was instead an English translation of the contents of the Qur'an. I think every Islamic scribe would agree that the Qur'an can never exist in other languages than Arabic? In other words, Tayyip #Erdoğan can now safely accept #Sweden into #Nato, yet I am still not sure he will... https://mastodonsweden.se/@kallekn/109799487303577587
