If we can't talk about groups we can't talk, not understanding this is lying because It's what we do all the time, as "common sense".

With this in mind, the thread started with @julian taking a group thought and answering as an individual emotion, and carried on in this #blocking way. This is the normal mess, we do need to put more focus into composting :)

@deadsuperhero #FediverseHouse this feels like an irrelevant echo chamber, I really miss the grassroots #DIY that built this space in the first place. This #maistreaming is too much noise vs signal

@dansup depend what you think the #fediverse is on that one. What is "native" what is not? You have a basic test like the #4opens but beyond this you have "culture" and that is a thing :)

@aral Am curease why you don't interact with socialhub, yes it's a mess, yes people can be pointless, but it is the grassroots space, and these are the people we need to try and work with, composting comes to mind.

@aral it's mastodon flood attack, I did rebuild the server a month ago so it should recover after the flood cross fingers.

Though @pluralistic has clarified his definition since the post so likely needs an update. I was commenting more on how people were using the term.

You were right about the #DDOS issues with #ActivityPub and WordPress I am finding it hard to keep the blog online with basic sharing and the AP Pugin.

@pfefferle might be good to put out an approximate idea of the server increase to keep a WordPress site working with the #AP plugin?
