I keep looking at Lua runtimes and like how Microsoft effectively owns the native Node.js stack by having NPM, Roblox owning Luau makes me wrinkle my nose a bit. Probably got the post-running brain but I think I'm just going to stick to vanilla Lua.

Thinking about net neutrality and how easy it was for Facebook to become the Internet for whole countries. Since no party is working to protect that, it's important to at least begin the conversation.
This might be irrelevant for those in comfortable places in society but when one company becomes your portal to the Web, all of that open Web stuff becomes extremely niche (and clearly Western utopian dreams).
A reminder that Biden has led mass deportations and that it's under-reported. His support has been optimized for allies of the US (Ukraine, Israel) and aggressively curtailed by other (African and Latin) countries. It's not a mistake: this is American policy.
