I've wanted to make or contribute to the making of a game where you're in a democratic centralist society. Mainly to show the immediate exhaustion of life it'd create (people would be voting for days every so many months) but also to serve as a soft way for people to participate in such an environment with lower stakes.

This is kinda how I see fiction as a way to expand our perspectives so we could build a new world first in our minds and then with our hands. Star Trek is a cliche example of this on a very small scale with the smartphone. This is The First TV.

It came on randomly when I turned on my Samsung TV. So like it's very wild that probably people will stumble across this and think this is some authority with vetting, fact checking and the like.

The wild thing is airlines are reducing standards in quality. But it's not for some replacement theory. This is a really effective noise maker.

#Apple and tech as a whole makes its wealth with the state-sponsored extraction of resources from Africa. Something that got accelerated because of Clinton's NAFTA, Big Tech has successfully built a new colonial pipeline and subsumed our lives into a non-consensual, child labor centric mass mining plantation where the West lives in the big house and indigenous Africans work to help you put on your #VisionPro or #Samsung devices.

Day one of #LaborNotes2024 was wild.

Officers were already surrounding us and guided traffic away, attempting to neuter the effect of the protest.

Learned so much from flight attendants, railroad workers, plumbers, auto workers, writers, engineers of all kinds, teachers, nurses, lawyers and a plethora of other fields that were all involved and represented in this protest.

I'm understanding that more that labor will be a critical lever of revolution but it's nothing more than that and can only assist in the general transition.

I inherently do not trust folks like that because their activism stops at making a profit on the retelling of violence while only remaining within the realm of realistic fiction retelling or light rehashing of the folks who hadn't the audience nor support of the predecessors (like the Black misleadership class of the 90s and 80s).

Yes, they provide excellent entries for complicated topics that (white, 62% of the population) America refuses to address, acknowledge or even perceive - unless it's February. But it halts at anything beyond that. And it's offensive because many people they've cribbed their information from the people who've done the work (like Angela Davis, Robin D.G. Kelly and Wilkerson).

I saw something that said that transgender can be seen as an "umbrella" term for both binary-adjacent folks (trans men + women) and non-binary folks (like those who are gender fluid and gender queer).
