I've wanted to make or contribute to the making of a game where you're in a democratic centralist society. Mainly to show the immediate exhaustion of life it'd create (people would be voting for days every so many months) but also to serve as a soft way for people to participate in such an environment with lower stakes.

This is kinda how I see fiction as a way to expand our perspectives so we could build a new world first in our minds and then with our hands. Star Trek is a cliche example of this on a very small scale with the smartphone. But if we truly nationalize everything and had a way to emulate the process of voting in it, it'd be .... a mod for Sims 4 lol
