@gabek if you look at the code, fetchers are modular. Mastodon (API! Not the software) is one fetcher I could quickly implement.

It's a proof of concept built in a couple of hours. No, it's not feature complete and I hope that's not what you were expecting :) I'm a decent dev but not thaaat good…
To try the concept out, I use the mastodon API (which I think multiple others implement as well). Using the ActivityPub API I won't be able to load threads from "secured" instances

Needed a small break from the usual work so decided to make a small side project today — learned a fair bit of typescript in the process.
My fediverse usage has greatly diminished due the sheer numbers of replies making interesting conversations difficult to read. Hopefully this helps a bit with this ?
