You may be right 🤷♂️ … I hope you’re wrong; bc it’s people who quietly know truths, even ones they can’t acknowledge yet, that are people who will be able to significantly and fairly quickly shift their lives / behaviours once the incentives change.
I know that even in ‘liberal’ Edmonton, the social pressure of Alberta culture is strongly against letting people know you have doubts about the status quo.

Perhaps we need to remind people that employees actually do the work of the company, not the other way around.

I’m not really a dog person, but my sense is that #DogsOfMastodon is a specific community of tooters with a history who share a loosely defined, unofficial, but still meaningful, set of rules and aesthetic values.
Dogs Dog are much more general.
