I know a lot of people bitch about how it's not perfect, and that's the point--it's imperfect and should be improved as these things go through legislation cycles and the general public trends towards progress. But these same whiners "I want something perfect, not good" seem to forget when preexisting conditions were NOT covered by insurance companies or they charged a lot more.

With COVID, millions more Americans now have preexisting conditions.

A lot of people, including Americans, don't understand how the electoral college works (and the real reason why it was created to begin with). Ranked Choice Voting is a great idea but we still have to get rid of the electoral college first, and that isn't going to happen given how the Constitution is set up. The U.S.A. is the only country that still uses such an outdated document that was never intended to adapt to our modern times.

Send all the billionaires to Mars, remove all exits, and let them duke it out amongst themselves. We might be able to save the Earth without them fucking things up.

And Standard time > Daylight Saving Time for so many reasons. All DST correlations related to health and deaths are negative.

Yet the Congressional bill that's been pushed has been pro-DST (thanks to retailers and sports industry? something like that). For regular working people, nope. Listen to the health experts and stick with Standard.
