I have the whole day to draw for once, and I can't get anything to work. I've started a dozen sketches, but nothing clicks, so it's one of those days.

Sometimes it doesn't work out. Tried to do an E-girl Velma, with piercings and tattoos, but I couldn't make it work. So posting this one, to let it go and move on.

@jsstaedtler You can get a NAS, like one from Synology or QNAP. They both have options to have internet access. I use them to have a folder that I can access from any device on my LAN. Opening to the internet has associated risks of being open to the internet, so be careful and be extra secure.

Little boring storytime.
The main character from monkey island got his name from the work file guybrush.bbm, indicating it was the guy from the game and a brush sprite. I thought it was and did the same thing with all my 3d models of unnamed girls. Had Girlmodel, Girltool, and Galmax, and that evolved to Galmesh, 3d mesh of a gal. Rosewood is my favorite fretboard material on guitars.

Okay I'm dumb, I didn't understand people were asking to follow me. It's a request to follow me, not them. I don't get it. So if I said no to your request, send it again.

My daughter is really into Sailor Moon. She's drawing a lot of fan art, looks at me, and says "have you ever drawn Sailor Moon?"
I looked at her, did my best Bane impression, and said "I was born in the moonlight, you merely adopted it." She didn't get the reference but laughed nonetheless. It's a hint about my next drawing.

Starlette, first piece done in Krita. I had to do my text in Photoshop, Krita spaced the letters strangely and couldn't figure out why, so that was done in Photoshop. So after spending a good 5h in Krita, it's really good. No enough to replace PS yet, but might be good enough for you so give it a try. It was really close for me.

I really like posting on Mastodon, there are a lot of interactions so it feels alive. On the opposite end as a reader, I find it a bit slow and not a lot is happening.
