@potato_lisper @humanetech I'm starting to think that actually a @bonfire instance would be better for this because you could have different topics (and circles)
Not everyone has the same intent. Some people post all of their stuff publicly (like me). Others are more private.
Some want to be competitive (like me). Others just want to encourage one another and talk about gear ?

I guess Strava gives you the option of not including GPS data within X metres of a specific location (e.g. your house) which is pretty useful...
Is there a Fediverse version of Strava?

(reason being that Strava is £££ and centralised, and also non-runners/cyclists/swimmers might get annoyed with daily spamming of the regular timeline...)
