    Just watched Asmongold play "Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty", which seems to be a Chinese-made Dark Souls fighting-game knockoff.

    Combat seems at best mediocre, music is mediocre, the English voiceovers are bad, the story is ridiculously bad.

    It sucks.

    You know what I learned from the years on #Twitter?

    That 95% of people don't give a shit about you unless they have something to gain from interacting with you. (Even less so if you have opinions or tend broach topics that fall outside the field of 'acceptable regular discourse'). Sure, they'll pretend to care and wanting the best for you (etc), but it's a pretentious show in the unending online performance that SoMe has become.

    Do not fall into the trap of believing that the faux-humanity presented online are representative of the whole of #humanity, it isn't. Humanity as a whole is better than this.

    What and who you see online are the dregs at the bottom of the barrel.

    Holy sh*t I'm getting fed up with #Microsoft #Edge nearly constantly trying to push you to setting it as the standard web browser on your box.

    And it's not just from within the browser, it's also in the Windows System Settings where it gives you an orange "warning bubble" to "restore recommended browser settings" if MSEdge isn't the default browser.

    MICROSOFT REALLY WANTS YOUR USAGE DATA.

    Emotional outbursts, and emotional-laden messages and presentations of whatever sort, or #emotions themselves, are not an #argument.

    Emotion speak deeply to us as human beings, but it often do so in ways that are not logical, or have their own #logic of sorts; They tend to bypass the necessary formal, argumentative logic that is used in making the world run productively and run fairly and justly.

    They may in some cases be support of an argument but they are not and can never be actual arguments, and people who imply they are or take them to be such are wrong and end up supporting at best misguided or often worse, manipulative causes.

    Looking on the 2nd hand markets, I can see that many #Mac owners have extremely high hopes for the resale value of their computers.

    Yes, Mac OS is preferable to Windows in several cases, but... 300-400 € for a ten year old computer which on the PC side would fetch at best 1/3 of that at comparable specs and condition ?

    Many of the titles being presented at the #Nintendo event today are Season Passes or purchaseable DLCs, plus GameBoy games seem to coming to the Switch.

    The gaming industry is in a unacknowledged crisis when a sizeable part of the games market are reboots/re-releases etc.
