You know what I learned from the years on #Twitter?

That 95% of people don't give a shit about you unless they have something to gain from interacting with you. (Even less so if you have opinions or tend broach topics that fall outside the field of 'acceptable regular discourse'). Sure, they'll pretend to care and wanting the best for you (etc), but it's a pretentious show in the unending online performance that SoMe has become.

Do not fall into the trap of believing that the faux-humanity presented online are representative of the whole of #humanity, it isn't. Humanity as a whole is better than this.

What and who you see online are the dregs at the bottom of the barrel.
