Even rating the cover alone gives strong hints at the story being all about activism, which means it's driving people away from it.

There's a difference though.
Onimai has a character that is part of the greater comedy, and there's no "oppression" or any other politics in it, which is OK.
LGBT activists on the other hand tend to be all about the character with barely any story telling if at all, and it's nothing but politics, which is NG.
This is why there's 1 good Japanese TSF (there are many more, but for the sake of this post I'll keep it to 1) that people actually like, and thousands of garbage western TSFs that nobody wants. -

JewTube: almost exclusively propaganda machines, I mean mainstream media outlets, plus occasionally some regular people who uploaded 2 or 3 years ago, and 1 foreigner being glad that masks are "no longer" required (they never were required, dumbass!).
Shitter: all REEEing pieces of shit (most likely all bots anyway, because that's what is almost the entire Shitter userbase) about people (especially foreigners, but sometimes Japanese as well) not wearing face diapers anymore. -

I think they'll instead just give him a deal to work for the FBI in return of not getting arrested.
It actually happens quite a lot; they capture the big all knowing boss who will get to choose between prison time, or working for them to catch a whole bunch of criminals for them with the promise of getting released afterwards.
And of course they will never name any of the high profile people, because that's too dangerous, so they only name the minions or just people who worked for them only once or twice, because those people can't do shit against him or her. -

I have a PinePhone for 2 and a half years I think.
Not sure when I bought it, but I know it was back during the Mankojaro Edition cycle.
If you want to know why Linux on mobile isn't going anywhere, then just take a look at Pine64 Forum's help threads.
Over a half of the people there bought a PinePhone just because it's cheaper than an Android phone, and then they expect it to basically become an Android phone, but without Android.
"How do I run WhatsApp?" "How do I run Fakebook?" "How do I run Signal?" "Anbox isn't working!" "Anbox this" "Anbox that"
It's just ridiculous!
But on the plus side, for those of us who wanted to threat a Linux phone as a Linux phone, there has been quite massive advancements regarding Phosh, Plasma Mobile, Lomiri, and SXMO.
Plasma Mobile existed even before Canonical made Ubuntu Touch (which is now UBPorts), and that project kept getting stuck in place for almost a whole decade.
Then the PinePhone came out, and all of the sudden they were able to turn it into a nearly complete product in a matter of just a year.
Just like how Plasma for the desktop tries to mimick Windblows, Plasma Mobile tries to mimick Android. -

(I stopped getting notified out of the blue.)
In principle, there's nothing wrong about buying a gaming PC if your intend is to play video games or being required to run bloat because of work or school or something, I have a gaming PC too which I use for video games.
I don't like buying modern laptops because of their increasingly shorter lifespans, increasingly higher difficulty of repairability, and increasingly higher price tags.
If you want to charge me more, then you better give me more durability and freedom to both hardware and software, or I'll just buy another decades old ThinkPad. -

The only thing that comes to mind are spoonsorship deals with companies directly, so you put up a static image promoting their product for a certain amount of time, and they pay you for that in return.
Just like how offline ads work.
But it's untrackable, so advertisers (or PR departments) won't do that.
"But offline ads are untrackable!" Consider the sheer amount of CCTV cameras that exist just about everywhere nowadays. -

Dear websoyte owners who are running ads, if you really want to make people stop using adblockers, then fucking limit your ads!
If you have people who find a blog post of yours, and then get drown by hundreds of ads floating around the screen, you're only inviting people to install an adblocker.
Setting up even more ads will not make you earn more money, the exact opposite effect will happen.
Because most of your visitors don't block ads because they don't want you to earn a little bit of money (commies do, but they're the types of people who will say "money evil" while hoarding as much money as possible for themselves), many don't want to be spied on, but that's only a tiny percentage of adblocker users.
The reason why vast majority of the people who use adblockers is exactly because there are way too many ads, and they're just annoyed by the ad spam, their flashiness, how they slow down computers, and so on. -
