@feditips@_dunnster there's two things happening here: 1. images with no alt text get that border if browsed on toot.wales 2. our host has a media cache setting that removes old media - which is then re-requested upon demand.
It looks like the re-requests are getting queued and taking up to a minute to get re-delivered from the remote server in some cases.
I suggest scrolling more slowly :o) - or opening the original page (three dot menu) if you need to see the image more quickly
@feditips@_dunnster for example, here you can see the image has been re-delivered to toot.wales (although it still has the "no alt text provided" border)
Plenty of changes from last week, if #England lose they will be 9th in the world, their lowest ranking ever. But with 11 changes to the starting lineup it will be a very different set of Roses on the field. Biggar is on the bench as Owen Williams starts at flyhalf, and NZ U20 expat Plumtree gets his second start for #Cymru with Dewi Lake as this week's captain

@rugby Henry Arundell gets a yellow for not retreating and tackling Liam Williams. Jack van Poortvliet off injured with an ankle issue, Ben Youngs replaces. Wales a man up and seemingly a bit more engaged with 7 or 8 minutes to go in the half
@rugby uninspiring first half, England head in with a two penalty lead and a man down. England has performed very well in defence, not so much on finishing at the other end of the field, lots of errors.
Cymru had a couple of lineouts go awry, mauls need work.
Ref seems a bit all over the place, failing to give Cymru the advantage they were playing and instead giving a penalty to England.
Cymru had a very strong second half last week, let's see if that's the game plan when we head back out.
@rugby ho hum. 40 seconds in and ref lives up to his word and cards Tommy R after his warning to Wales in the first that any more penalties would result in a yellow.
We've had over 100 responses to our Fediverse #Moderator Needs Assessment! The survey is open to any Federated / ActivityPub moderation team using any software.
The results will help determine how IFTAS funding will be put to work.
Some of you know I have been working on non-profit funding to create an organisation ("IFTAS") to support moderators and admins. This is a non-profit entity that employs moderators and advisors to improve the tools and policies we have access to, and to present a strong voice to platform developers describing the tools and features needed to conduct the work.
