@binarytango @pfefferle I agree, have you tested on instances that don’t have Limited Federation mode enabled? For example if you attempt to follow my personal account @hugo (also on Mastod.host) does the issue still happen?

  @mastohost @binarytango @hugo following from WordPress is not supported yet. I cant follow a blog from a Mastodon instance. And I can't debug it, because there is no POST to the WordPress' inbox

  @pfefferle Not sure I follow, you expect POST requests from an instance, what can I do to trigger those POST requests from another instance to test my theory? Can I follow a blog that you are testing? Can you send the link?

  @jaz @pfefferle.wordpress.com the 500 is something different. I tried to reverse engineer the featured tag API and failed. I removed that for the next release, but this shouldn't be the issue.

  @mastohost @binarytango @pfefferle.wordpress.com ok, but I see the requests! then it might be a AUTHORIZED_FETCHED issue in your case. I will check this. but still the issue that I can't see any requests from masto.host servers not even failing.
