@hellomiakoda wait actually, what do you mean by bring it low and then boost, is it like a UI thing that's different for you? Cause for me enabling the volume boosts extends how far the slider goes, but doesn't change the current volume level? Unless KDE visualises it in a really shitty way?

@hellomiakoda doesn't boosting the volume from the OS cause sound clipping and possibly hardware damage though? Like, idk how it works for mics but I blew out my laptop speakers by boosting those 💀

Oh god uhhh how can I boost my mic's volume when streaming with OBS? Cause I just realized how ridiculously quiet my VODs are even with everything turned up to maximum when compared to literally any other video on YouTube

@hellomiakoda ah fair, here in Romania about the only place you can get a used/second-hand phone or tablet is online, and they're usually not exactly cheap unless they're completely unusably broken

I have a bunch of old phones, but I'm not sure any of them can really be repurposed for anything and to be fair I don't have any kind of server either
