So what? Reaction is inevitable, revolution is not. Whether reaction comes from Iranian theocrats or from US/Israel, it WILL come regardless. Is this inevitability a serious reason to support reaction over the insurrectos?

You don't have to love the Iranian theocracy, but without theoretically sound, centralized, armed, revolutionary mass movement, we have to support Iran over the insurrectos to prevent a US/Israel hijack!

Ideal conditions will never exist except only in retrospect. The revolution makes the revolutionaries, not the other way around. Mass revolutionary consciousness is only developed in a mass revolution.

@HeliosPi one of the things I am sitting with is the idea that we have the intentionality to do things with the cognizance that it isn't in alignment with our final goals (anarchy) yet can still be of value with immediate goals or as a collapse of the means–ends dialectic where the means become an ends in-of-itself (in your example, building community).

Ergo, so what if it is opportunist? If this is all we can do under the imposition of normalcy by the party of order, then at least we are doing something with some good.
