Why can't our most experienced climate frontliners and scientists devise a sane and comprehensive climate plan? Because the state has usurped the various functions and centralized agency of society into its apparatus. Anarchism means allowing society to flourish without the state.

When we are asked “who makes the goods” in a factory, we do not say “the middle managers!” or “the bosses!” It is always the workers. So it is the same in society. Society runs the welfare, the state is just society's boss who has convinced it it is in need of management.
