@Gnomeshatecheese @Piss_Ant No, it's an issue with the licorice root. It's not such a problem with the licorice all-sorts. But if you have a whole bag of the salty ones, have a big glass of water too, and if you have the real stuff, be ready for a runny poo. It's also an excellent alternative to over the counter stuff if you're constipated.

@Piss_Ant Remember to limit yourself to a couple pieces per day. A whole bag of licorice will do awful things to your gut. The only silver lining being licorice scented farts ?

@Hollahollara @alex I always figured the story was she was raped, then married off. Was she married off to her rapist? I don't know. But this is an example of why proper sex education is important, and women's rights are important. We don't go marrying off 14 year old girls to adult men. We realize now how utterly fucked up that is. Or some of us do. Many still see no problem with it.
