@glynmoody I wonder is driving this. Going to another Chinese platform is not going to end well. I've never used Tiktok and try to avoid centralised platforms these days.

@glynmoody There's a lot of scepticism about AI, especially around here. Some of it is just novelty, but it can have real uses to get insights into data. Have to get past the hype.

@glynmoody Green energy can be cheaper than coal, so industry will want more of it. The US has massive renewable resources. Trump has to be confronted on his links with fossil fuels.

@glynmoody Some people make out it's an either/or situation, but we can have smart solutions. I assume a lot of farmers installed solar anyway as they need the income.

@glynmoody We need better infrastructure. Are the people available to do this and all the house-building?

@glynmoody I really don't see the point of meme coins and people should not take them seriously, but Musk has hyped Doge. FOMO and greed are powerful forces.

I'm more interested in crypto as a way to empower people, but it's still a minefield and people have to be wary.

I see plenty of people say all crypto is scams, but there are lots of projects with good intentions.

@glynmoody Africa could make good use of that power. We could max out our solar and wind first.

@glynmoody it's not like they really care about each other, so let them suffer. The world needs more empathy.

@glynmoody I've not even looked at Bluesky. I'm fed up with corporate platforms that either get shut down (Google!) or turn to shit. But people will go where their friends and preferred content are.
