joshThe House recently passed a bill that would remove COVID-19 vaccine requirements for air travel to the United States by non-residents. The United States is among the few countries that still require a COVID-19 vaccine card to enter for any reason, the other is China.
I am almost convinced that this mandate is a deliberate effort to keep conservative people in Europe (particularly Ukraine) from leaving to the United States, while the southern border stays completely open to anyone willing to cross illegally.
If you're one of those "call your senator" types, I'd encourage you to call, especially if your senator is a Democrat.

joshMy computer screens randomly go black and my computer has to hard reboot at complete random. I suspect it might be the GPU overheating, but the GPU remains at a cool temperature and it happens when not doing GPU-intensive work. Could it be a voltage issue with the wall socket? I'm tempted to get a backup external PSU.
I think it was a Telegram post (I've looked, can't find it), but it was me saying something along the lines of "I will keep the onion up until February 3rd no matter what" and Liz Fong-Jones replied saying "very optimistic to assume it will make it that far :^)" or something.

joshThe KiwiFlare page is now up for people to test. I am observing no bottlenecking like had seen before. I am not entirely sure why this is the case but I've been observing for about 8 hours now without serious issue. Even on the much busier North American POP it's doing well.

joshThe DDoS Retard is almost ready. There's some weird bottlenecking which I am pretty sure is a result of mutex locking but I'm not 100%. I'll do some more testing tomorrow and hopefully figure out what it is. It's definitely traffic related and there's so few moving parts in the code that I can realistically figure out what it is.
Cloudflare at some point switched to 503 which I hate. It's incorrect. I am considering using 511 (the code for things like WiFi Terms of Service pages).
It's an interestingly unanswered question considering how the HTTP status code RFC is notoriously bloated (see 418 I am a Teapot). And, additionally, Cloudflare is working with Apple to make a new kind of anonymous and instant captcha that involves using your device ID.
