   Reminder that chat messages on the Fedi are totally unencrypted and can be read by both instance admins on both sides and any bad actors that access the instance. They also do not appear to expire. Never send confidential information by Fedi DM.

     @h @josh Users have to hold their keys. If servers hold keys there's no point. Users holding their own keys comes with all kinds of challenges.
