@jessew This reminds me that I once used the system() function call in a small C++ project I made called Lines. It was my very first project (getting me started with C++ and the likes) and I included a command to clear the screen. It was removed though once I learned the downsides of the system() function.

Considering the background of Xlibre, now, I'm honestly not surprised. I'm going to get some popcorn out to see how this unfolds. By the way, you want some? 🍿

P.S. This is also why I don't like using other programs to do things in your own program even if it's not via system().

Honestly, this is pretty neat! I never would've expected this to be honest. This class is also a systems programming class, which I think I should be able to pass very neatly because I think I'm familiar with most of what will be covered (I'm only a sophomore in college right now).
