@robertvh Yeah you could use things like `cat` and `l` and `cd` to navigate the file system see the contents of files.

One use case for LLMs is to store data. There are many ways to store info: files, folders, spreadsheets, CSV, docs, and databases. I've always had a problem with how to represent information. Once you shape it in one way, it becomes hard to view it in other ways. I love the idea of telling an LLM something and having it pull it up for you in any way you need. This is kind of the way the "Her" operating system worked by scanning all the files on the computer.

I've seen demos out there where you ask a chatbot to pretend to be a bash terminal with files and folders I kind of dig this idea but taking it a couple steps further.

This post just makes me think that we need a one-click Deno server that uses activity pub. Perhaps using KV? ๐Ÿ‘€

Decentralized software shouldn't feel like rails bloatware. Kubernetes ๐Ÿคฎ? It all Should be serverless and simple to deploy your own instance.

imagining a different kind of mastodon client

I'm struggling with a way to organize content within the fediverse that isn't updates

think of art projects and different sets of images and descripts

think of one feed for tech posts

think of another feed for personal blog posts

i want the ability to have a page with a set of posts

its a bummer that you cant do this in one account with the same followers

What about I create an app let's call it "groupedhashtags.com".

Where you can go to groupedhashtags.com/@thomasreggi@indieweb.social/#art-project-2023/gallery

The last param on the end displays the posts in different ways image grid vs one column.

Thoughts? Does anything like this exist? Something that aggregates your posts from mastodon through a different view?

I also was thinking about a thread-reader with the same concept.

@xan ugh, wish it was possible to create a layer on top of mastodon that can act as a "meet people" thing. Some matching system with scanning posts / bio / hashtags.

Hi there ๐Ÿ‘‹! My name is Thomas (he/they). I'm a 33-year-old New Yorker living in #Astoria. I've been working as a professional #coder for over a decade, and I'm currently open to new opportunities. I enjoy thrifting online and in person, as well as practicing hot #yoga, and a good #espresso. Recently, I've been tinkering a lot with different front-end meta-frameworks, #Typescript, and #Deno.
