It takes like 5 mins (10 mins tops) to measure and dump everything in to make a delicious freshly baked loaf of bread in the bread machine. And yet! I'm still too lazy to even do that some days, lol.
WTF Mozilla. You really gonna make it impossible to remove google from search providers?! Shame.
How do you listen to music? I'm going to guess that for most of you the answer is spotify or some crap like that :-P. I kid. But if you listen to your music in a more interesting way tell me about that.
Personally, I listen to music in a combination of ways. Vinyl records, a diy multi-room home music server setup, minidiscs and local files from a smartphone or small low power computer. I use them all regularly as they all make sense for certain situations.
Wow this is flippin impressive! It's Portal demade? Portal in TIC-80! Wild.
@cwebber Nice honeypot, lol.
Car-brains: I need this $60k SUV because I have to go grocery shopping and have a kid to haul around.
Me: *Picks up firewood, $150 of groceries, and a 12 pk of beer in one trip on an ebike with my kid along for the ride.*
There are a couple projects demonstrating some nice looking capabilities of the Beepy and it's display. I just need somebody to build a PDA interface on top of one of these X-).

I just want a more modern one of these that runs linux. Is that so much to ask?
@killyourfm I keep thinking about itch.io having potential. It's mostly games but there is music and other non-game things on there too. Itch doesn't even take a minimum commission on sales. They let creators choose how much if any they want to give to itch to support the platform. Itch might actually have a real opportunity to grow here if they put some effort into music.
It's pretty wild how I went years and years (like 5+ at least) basically paying zero attention to music beyond listening to my tried and true favorites here and there or a radio station/stream sometimes. For some reason I snapped out of that 3 or 4 years ago and my music libary has been growing ever since. Lots of new bands and new albums from old bands, new genres I've gotten into and everything.
I don't know where I'm going with this I just think it's interesting.
Battery Thoughts:
In a better timeline we would have a standard format for low/medium voltage battery packs that could be used generically in lots of different pieces of equipment. Imagine if instead of every power tool, ebike and portable power pack having different and incompatible batteries, you could instead purchase universal battery packs in different sizes from different sources that could be used with anything you owned.
This thought brought to you by a hurricane. Oh, I won't be needing these ebike battery packs while there is a storm rolling through but it sure would be nice if they could be used to power other things if the power goes out.
Something I really like about replacing essentially 90%+ of my car trips with the ebike is how I get about an hour per day of moderate cardio just doing the things I normally do. It's not going to make me a super fast cyclist but I feel like it's a super easy and enjoyable way to do something that's good for my health.
Browsing #gemini and fedi on the Beepy using virtually no CPU and only 50MB of RAM.
@requiem @ifixcoinops Game Dads assembleeeeeeee!
@thegibson It's a bit sad even. We could all see what the result would inevitably be when putting a fresh coat of pain on the same failed formula. Some just can't see it I guess.
No YOU are weirdly obsessed with a french card game that you discovered by playing it on you PDA and just got a physical card set from 1962 in the mail!
