People are way too used to having to apply bandaid fixes to proprietary platforms.

Saw the post of something called "FxBluesky" launching (like FxTwitter) to make proper embeds for Discord/Telegram.

Little do they know (apparently) that the entire thing is open source and they could fix the embeds at the root :blobcatnotlikethis:

Every time I read the argument "but people on fedi and Bluesky are annoying" I'm asking myself why some people don't manage to curate their feeds.

Blocking/Muting works on all major platforms.

And, I dunno, I'd rather have some quirky people instead of right-wingers roaming around freely and algorithmic timelines putting that stuff into my face when I don't even want it.

Experimented with Lume CMS today as well, and that ended up with me creating a bunch of issues because of my setup, most likely.
