To my Canadian friends who have an important election next week, I’ll give you some advice my dad once gave me, which has stuck with me all these years and seems very relevant to this situation:
@blaise I think too many people view their support of a political party like they support a sports team - anything they do is good and right, unfair calls that support their team are just fine, and any call against their team is evidence of bias and is unfair, and there's a weird sense of pride when their team is "winning", even if that winning hurts them.
@mttaggart I know people are down on cloudflare, but for the reasons described in another thread, it's becoming almost untenable to run a public site that isn't behind a CDN, and sadly cloudflare's price is right for most people, as opposed to Akamai and Fastly, which can get crazy expensive very fast
I have a (bad) sinus infection right now and a dentist appointment later today. I am going to see if they’ll let me use that sucker straw to clean out my sinuses
So MITRE’s CVE may be dying. I have been working hard on a replacement. Now you might be skeptical that a shared google sheet isn’t the right approach, but at least it’s affordable, right?
