Is it me or are most Jedi either idiots and/or let their egos cloud their judgement?

Background: In light of the “backlash” against #TheAcolyte I was reflecting on the portrayal of the Jedi in the movies over my lifetime (covers all of Star Wars - god I’m old). And I think the conclusion I’ve come to is that while the force and light sabers are cool - the Jedi are not cool.

The whole treating of peaceful protestors as criminals is fucked up.

Also adding cops to almost any protest seems to greatly increase the chance of violence.

Me: Please document why that thing is doing what it’s doing so future us doesn’t mess it up.

Me, realizing I’ve used Apache (the http server) for ~25 years and nginx for ~15 years and I really dislike both of them.

@darnell Check out using a raspberry pi pr another machine as a tailscale exit node.

My home firewall is a pfsense box, and it’s also my tailscale exit node. So I’ve effectively rolled my own vpn.

@mattly I agree. To be fair this isn’t PDX proper, and it’s probably not zones for that atm.

But yes, I’d rather see a replacement house or a multi-unit apartment instead of two mini McMansions.
