   First #Netflix & now #DisneyPlus‽ Honestly, what makes the password crackdown awful is the fact that when you travel overseas, streaming services will assume I am sharing my password with someone else.

   I may need to invest in a VPN with a dedicated IP address to get around from being blocked.

     @darnell Check out using a raspberry pi pr another machine as a tailscale exit node.

     My home firewall is a pfsense box, and it’s also my tailscale exit node. So I’ve effectively rolled my own vpn.

     @matt Thanks! That link by Netflix explained what to do if one travels to a second home or same location overseas.

     Basically start a movie or show for a few seconds, then stop. When I arrive at my other location I then resume watching the show & Netflix recognizes the new location as legit.

     Awesome!

     @darnell As far as I am aware, they password sharing lockdown isn't so dumb as to trigger if you travel.

     You do see a different set of content for the country you are in, I believe - but your account still works.
