    I know many of you on here are autistic or possess many of the personality characteristics of autistic people and I thought about something that can both help us interact with others and each other.

    For many autistic people, truth is an important virtue, and this comes across in different ways depending on the context. For close friends, you can be an important person they trust to make judgement calls when they worry others might get caught up in trying to make them feel comfortable. For others you may come across as blunt or rude for pointing out things that they feel would be better softened or left out entirely.

    I don't remember where I heard this but it is a very fitting quote. "[For autistic people] truth is kindness."

    I and many other autistic people would be grateful for somebody pointing out our failings because we can improve and better understand ourselves, but most people aren't like that. Socializing with most people is a delicate balance of ego maintenance and lies. Unfortunately, your personal virtues do not work in a neurotypical setting. For your own welfare and social standing, it is important to be aware of this.

    And for people who do not fit into what I just described, please be patient with people, and try to examine their intentions before responding as if you were attacked. If they seem like they meant well PLEASE TELL THEM that it made you uncomfortable so you can avoid future friction. So many relationships have been tainted and destroyed through simple miscommunications and misconceptions of the character of others.

    @naenaegod @liam you can remove the radtodeg() and simply divide the angle by pi/4, just set pi/4 as a constant somewhere earlier in the code
