Reminder: there's no restriction on having multiple accounts on the fediverse! (many people do!)

If your current home federates/doesn't federate with another server you do/don't want to talk to, you can always make another account with/out access!

Clients like #Fedilab already support multiple accounts and you don't even have to switch accounts to boost, star, or reply, just long press!

One user:one account is for the convenience of advertisers and data aggegators, not humans

I'm pretty sure that my response to sites that aren't going to show me content unless I run their special spyware riddled browser with ad DRM is the same response I've had to websites that refuse to show me content because GDPR

I've tried uploading to different instances, verified the image is within size for the server

any ideas? could it be permissions on my mobile somewhere?

for attacks against instance databases

Some reports suggest:

- mastodong[.]lol

may be operated by the person responsible, and possibly used for staging, coordination, or remote execution

Mastodon and Misskey are affected

Misskey has announced a patch is available, all Misskey admins are advised to update as soon as possible
