Vendor deployed their application on a Windows server. I restarted the Windows server to apply some updates. Apparently, this caused the entire MongoDB to be wiped. All RS were empty.

Vendor doesn't like me asking and poking around their application, even down to the level of SSL certs. Thank fuck I made a backup of the MongoDB before the restart.

@ChrisShort why is your entire outdoor table a magsafe charger?

Just went to a clinic to get ear wax removed due to some blockage and pain in my ear on a recent flight. A little surprising that the doctor told me the ear that was blocked was completely clear. Ear with pain was blocked with wax.

I was shook when he showed me the M&M sized ball of ear wax he removed. 😐

Oh god, thank god Batman is no longer broke. That was a really controversial editorial decision considering that Batman is still close to superhuman even without his billions. Take that away and you just get superhuman Bear Grylls.

I don’t know what else to say other than, shit’s kind of bad, and refusing to embrace any kind of positive motion to make things better in this aspect is awful. I’m not saying everybody has to pitch in, but some of the most toxic people I’ve come across on here barely lift a finger to do anything other than complain. And they just do that, for years and years.

In my headspace, I just imagine a bunch of pissed-off anarchists that all hate each other because they’re the wrong kind of anarchist, and they’re just content to sit back and complain and be miserable until this network rots into the ground.

To me, that fucking sucks, and I don’t want any part in it.
