Did you know that there is an #RSSFeed for every #youtube channel?
If supported by your client, you can use the channel URL. If not supported, open the channel page source code and look for 'title="RSS"', the feed URL will be next to it..

For example it's

@SuperDicq Its an app. Pretty easy to explain and thats what you see on the pictures too.

Nobody knows what a protocol or a frontend is. Network is also barely a known concept. Thats something that is documentation stuff, not for the enduser-facing site.

@SuperDicq The pleroma one, I think is to techy and at the same time missing an explaination of why it exists.

The misskey one much better on the main page but the server list is kind of bad.

While now I get you point in the telling the story of the fediverse on the main page, I still think it doesn't belong there on a user facing page as it's not relevant and confusing. Should be in the documentation, tho.

@SuperDicq And thats still a good thing. Mastodon is hard enough to setup, no need to confuse people even more with other software. You have to understand that people do not care and do not want to know everything, but just see a few bits to convince them that it's worth to sign up.
