i remember the memes. the old memes, you remember them. you remember the old internet culture. it wasnt that long ago. lets say the 2000s. then social media got a lot bigger, it was already there, but things changed. the memes changed. suddenly the memes were different, wrong. the vibe shifted. and then suddenly one day, i saw it. it was called skibidi toilet. i felt so Relieved. Finally. the memes are back to normal

i've never really noticed my internet connection being too slow since 2007. i think the jump from 56kbps to 2mbps was way more important than the jump from 2mbps to 8mbps to 16mbps to whatever. it's always been fine. it objectively feels the same speed now as it did when it was 2mbps. maybe even slower

the other day i found out i can get 500mbps internet connection for £2 more than i'm currently paying for 70mbps

i think if i got a gigabit internet connection i would just end up becoming a data hoarder, and then i would spend enormous amounts of money and time on like. hanging around on those forums where they talk about hard drive reliability, and building custom NAS setups to store thousands of ISOs of like, idk. like i can right now upgrade my internet connection to be like 7 times faster for essentially no extra money and im not even interested in doing it. i'll probably get round to it but i never notice that my internet is too slow for anything i do with it

according to wikipedia's "List of video games considered the best", there were no good video games that came out in 2021. every previous year has at least a couple of entries, all the way back. the first year you hit with no games worth mentioning, other than 2021, is 1976

in my opinion, rather than some kinda GPL3 license, you should just write all your code so badly that no corporation wants to go anywhere near it
