I feel like offering a defensive seminar around the concept of jumping offsides — if you’re already offsides, keep going until the refs kill the play. Otherwise, free shots downfield for the offense.

@jon@tom — For the record, in games players ARE allowed to wear the padding on the outside of the helmet that they use in practice to help prevent head trauma. I haven’t seen anyone use it in a game.
