In order to move a big contract, there has to be a team willing to take it. Health is an issue.

Until Denver figures out its front office and coaching situation, it’s hard to know what path they’ll take (other than to say what Joker wants will be important).

My guess is they keep Adelman; I expect that to happen quickly if they’re going to do it. As for making a trade . . . it’ll be a long six weeks of speculation.

Example: Utah’s cut Westbrook twice without having him ever play for them. Other teams needed the Jazz to take his contract as part of a three-way deal just to make numbers work.

I love Pop, even with his tendency to be cantankerous with some reporters (especially sideline reporters during games). Good luck to him with his health and with his front office work (only up to the Spurs staying just a rung belong my Nuggets 😊).
