   I had to come back on here to read your reply because we only have 300 characters on BSky.

   I thought you'd be interested in what some other NBA folks were thinking.

   Glad that was the case.

   I was hoping the Nuggs would knock them off - oh well...

     @emarktaylor @emarktaylor.bsky.social — It’s always interesting when NBA reporters just look at contracts and say, “Just trade this guy!”

     Example: Utah’s cut Westbrook twice without having him ever play for them. Other teams needed the Jazz to take his contract as part of a three-way deal just to make numbers work.

     @emarktaylor.bsky.social — Fair assessment. Two notes:

     In order to move a big contract, there has to be a team willing to take it. Health is an issue.

     And . . .

     Until Denver figures out its front office and coaching situation, it’s hard to know what path they’ll take (other than to say what Joker wants will be important).

     My guess is they keep Adelman; I expect that to happen quickly if they’re going to do it. As for making a trade . . . it’ll be a long six weeks of speculation.
