The biggest transphobes on the comedy circuit seem to be sexual abusers and misogynists. If only the media would join the dots. Oh but wait they won't because of the sexual abusers and transphobes in their own ranks.

There's never been an inquiry into institutional transphobia. Never.

Wilko going bust is a symptom of high street decline and Brexit and failed economic and social policies over decades. I feel sad and angry about this.

Like someone else said the UK is a poor country with some very rich people. Wealth has shifted up since Thatcher. Increasingly car centred economy. Higher council tax and higher parking charges and less money from central government. Rising property and food and fuel prices. Decline papered over.

To all the transphobic politicians and journos, as well as all the bots and trolls on social media.

I agree with your broad point. Where I disagree is the self-loathing of attacking the West as if anywhere else is a bastion of perfection. Like, Russia, China, or any number of shitpits is preferable.

You can't just dive in and meddle with a system which keeps food on everyone's table but I certainly agree the model we seem stuck with for the very narrow present needs reform.

I tend to think libertarians are miswired in the head. I feel Ron Paul's slogan speaks a truth about this. Turning love into a form of evil, perhaps.
